Contractors
For those who prefer to manage their own benefits, business risk exposures and tax liabilities as well as operate as a pure independent under a self-incorporated structure, NexDev firmly believes in paying such contractors the greatest portion of the client billing rate possible. At NexDev, we understand the costs and responsibilities of being incorporated and thus strive to make our relationship efficient and profitable for all parties.

1099 Pay Rates
Established domestic C and S corporations who contract through NexDev are paid 85% of the client-billing rate. This rate is paid for every approved hour worked and for every rate increase we obtain from the client – without exception.

This rate applies only to contractors directly responsible for the services rendered to the client. Although NexDev does not have a stated pricing policy for contracts with other brokerage consulting firms, it does welcome the opportunity to work with them either as a supplier or user of professional consultants.

Business Insurance
Although we make every effort to minimize the demands placed on our corporate contractors, NexDev does require that all corporate contractors carry general liability and officer/owner-included workers’ compensation insurance. Other than that, our corporate contractors operate their businesses independently and as they desire.
